Rodger Golston

 

Golston, Rodger 73, of Tempe passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2015. Born December 15, 1941 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Richard and Evelyn Golston. A graduate of the Detroit College of Law in 1968, he served as a Phoenix deputy public defender before being appointed Chief Presiding Judge of the City of Phoenix municipal court. He then spent four years as the Chief Deputy County Attorney of Maricopa County. He has spent the last three decades as a private practice attorney in the East Valley. He also taught for many years as an adjunct professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Arizona State University. An avid photographer and camera collector, Rodger is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hardyman, daughter Maggie Golston, son John Golston (Robin), and grandchildren Jake and Zoe.
