Leslie Ann Bruton, 74, of Huntersville, NC entered her eternal home surrounded by family on March 7, 2016. Leslie was born in Cleveland Ohio, April 14, 1941 to the late Gene L. and Ethel Keays Bruton. Leslie graduated from Catholic University of America and received her Masters from Hofstra University. Leslie worked for 35 years at Public School 280, Bronx, NY before retiring to Huntersville. The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors who have helped and supported Leslie since she moved to NC. She is survived by her brother Bob (Kris), numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends Louise and Jeff Merchant of Dallas, TX. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016, in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
