Comments:
It has been quite a trip. to say the least! BA in Speech/Theater from Ohio Wesleyan, then MFA from Ohio University in acting/Directing - then additional grad study at University of "Meeshagun." - taught for a year at Hollins College in VA, thence, back to Ohio to Kent State University where I stayed until retiring in 1995 and then moved to the East Coast (Weehawken) where Susan and I both did the "show biz" for ten plus years. In 2006 she was offered a theater faculty position at Southern Illinois University and we moved lock, stock, and five year old son, "A.P.," to Carbondale. Susan is now director of under grad studies and I'm house husband, Boy Scout leader, and an elder at our church.
Been married twice, with one child from each - Mindy (1964) and A.P. (Alan Patrick, 2001) - the latter qualifies me as a SOD, or start over Dad.
Numerous health issues since 1994 - diabetes and all its complications - an amputation, legally blind, etc. but, as you can see, still tickin' and doing the best I can. As my former spouse recently commented, "He's tough!" As was said back in the dark ages, "Keep on chooglin!" - from the "Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers."
